The 40 or so stairs leading up to Villa Mutamba have been described as the “Stairway to Heaven”.  A very accurate description for a villa situated on the side of a beautifully landscaped rock hillside of cacti, Licnum Vitae (iron wood) and Cassin Trees and has the most breathtaking view (almost throughout the villa) of the turquoise coloured Caribbean sea. 

Billy’s Bay, the home of Villa Mutamba, is a little humble sleepy fishing village where everyone is “related” (maybe even to you).

Villa Mutamba offers you all the privacy you need and:

·         A large modern barn-style living room with beautiful Indonesian bamboo furniture;

·         A self-contained kitchen;

·         A Bathroom with an ocean view;

·         A large sleeping area divided in two with a cushion filled loft and a screened (Cameroon straw and Jamaican bamboo) section;

·         Ceiling fans for when the sea breeze isn’t enough;

·         A 5 minute walk to our safe and secluded beach.  Please feel free to stop on you way home for a game of dominoes with cousin Hamlin and cousins at the South Pole Bar.  There are also public beaches and bars about 15 minutes away.

Catherine is available to be employed by you.  She shops for food, prepares meals and tends to other general household chores.  She is very calm, willing and respectful and lives right at the foot of “The Stairway to Heaven”. 

Boat rides by Ossie are available by making reservations a day in advance.  Experience the dolphins on route to Pelican Bar, situated on a little sand band in the middle of the ocean.  Alligator Pond and the Black River Safari are other interesting boat ventures.

Restaurants, Jamaican and otherwise are dotted all along the Treasure Beach coast.
